In reply to: [Google for WooCommerce] Variants In TitleI also just seen in Google’s guide lines that it says:
Distinguish between variants.
- Add the distinguishing details of each variant to the title. For example, Google T-Shirt, Red. Don’t forget to also submit these details through the appropriate attributes such as colour
[color]
, size[size]
or age group[age_group]
. For product design elements that don’t have a corresponding attribute, such as ‘flavour’, add them to the title. - Be specific. The more specific you are with your title, the easier it is for your customers to identify the correct product on your landing page, as well as any of its possible variants. For example, you’re selling curtains and have listed seven different curtains on your landing page, all distinguished through different sizes and colours. Customers need a simple way to quickly identify the product that they were looking at initially. A specific title can help with that.

In reply to: [Google for WooCommerce] Variants In TitleFor example:
Old plugin product title: Mitsubishi Evo Hoodie Black M
Your plugin product title: Mitsubishi Evo Hoodie
It’s missing the colour and size.
That means all the variant products are all going to have the same title.

In reply to: [Google for WooCommerce] Variants In Title@aguinaldodarla I don’t want to include the variant details in the main product titles showing on the website, I only want to include them in the Google Listing titles.
Is there a way your plugin can automatically add the variant details to the titles in the feed? the last plugin I used included them in the feed automatically and I was hoping I could do the same with this plugin.
@random357 they have updated the plugin with this option ??
I would also like to know if this is possible? Thanks

In reply to: [XML Sitemap & Google News] Sitemap can be read, but has errorsFor anyone else having the same problem, it turned out the sitemap was working when logged in but redirected to the login page when logged out. I deactivated and reactivated all the plugins and the sitemap is now showing correctly.

In reply to: [XML Sitemap & Google News] Sitemap can be read, but has errors@ravanh It’s strange becasue I see the sitemap when I check the URL and I have tried to resubmit the sitemap in Google Search Console several times but I still get the error. I have also excluded all the sitemaps from cache. Is there anyway I can send you the URL for you to check out without making it public?
Perfect, Thank you ??
@shanedelierrr, that has worked! thank you ??
@shanedelierrr, I’m using the Flatsome theme, I’ve just tried changing it to Twenty Twenty-Three but there isn’t any option to add logo in customizer?with this theme.
@nlpro, I tried this way but it didn’t update in the notification email. Do you know if there is a way I can hide it using functions.php?
@shanedelierrr?@nlpro, I’ve just deleted and re-installed but it’s still showing the old logo ??
Any thoughts on hiding the logo?
@shanedelierrr @nlpro I’ve had a better idea, is there away to hide the logo in the email maybe using functions.php?
