Hi There,
I’m using wordfence and I am also getting the same problem.
I’ve tried the solution outlined above but my .htaccess file seems to display something different. Am I looking at the correct solution? Not sure where to go from here.
# BEGIN WordPress <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule .* - [E=noabort:1] RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . /index.php [L] </IfModule> # END WordPress

In reply to: [Adminimize] Hide .update-nag?Ah so that’s how you do it, brilliant thank you!

In reply to: [MimeTypes Link Icons] Paragraph issues with .mtli_attachment classThat’s fine. I will try to recreate the problem on an external server and see if the problem persists. I’ll keep you posted.

In reply to: [MimeTypes Link Icons] Paragraph issues with .mtli_attachment classUnfortunately I won’t be able to as it’s on an intranet page only accessible from our building.
The screenshot should be working now however. Here

In reply to: [MimeTypes Link Icons] Paragraph issues with .mtli_attachment classUnfortunately not, the stylesheets are placed in the correct order as well. The only solution seem to be changing
.mtli_attachment { display:inline-block; }
to
.mtli_attachment { display:inline; }
But as you say, it’s probably better to do this from the child theme but this doesn’t seem to work.

In reply to: [MimeTypes Link Icons] Paragraph issues with .mtli_attachment classI spoke too soon.
Since updating some pages do not display the icon next to the link.
This was with Asynchronous Replacement enabled.
However, when I switch this off the icons reappear, but the overlapping text issue occurs again. On the bright side, this is only happening in Chrome.

In reply to: [MimeTypes Link Icons] Paragraph issues with .mtli_attachment classYup, I can confirm that the V3 has fixed the overlapping issue. All in Chrome, FF and ie8
Thank you!

In reply to: [MimeTypes Link Icons] MS PublisherThanks for the reply.
Well actually where I work we use an internal system called Documentum. A typical URL for a file on Documentum looks like this:
https://documents:1234/webtop/drl/objectId/567891a2345b678c
So there is no extension to identify what the document is but where it is located.
I figured that this request would be limited to only businesses or individuals who use Documentum (of which I know no other), therefore it should be expandable for both lesser known and/or popular cloud doc services like Google Drive, Dropbox, Sugar sync etc (mainly the ones with version control) to use the plugin too.
From my perspective I would only need an icon to be added for Documentum. This I can send to you if you wish to add it. However there is no consistent file extension except that the URL (interally) starts with ‘https://documents’
Here is a list of ones I can think of off the top of my head.
Google Drive – https://drive.google.com
Google Spreadsheet – https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet
Google Text Doc – https://docs.google.com/document
Google Presentation – https://docs.google.com/presentation
Google Forms – https://docs.google.com/formsGona have to get back to you on the other ones if you need em.

In reply to: [MimeTypes Link Icons] MS PublisherThanks for that link, really useful.
Publisher uses ‘.pub’ as far as I know. I think there are more but I’ve never used them. See here for more.
Another feature that would be really helpful, would be to have a custom icon where a user could specify what the URL would contain to include that custom uploaded icon. This will help with things like external links to document repositories that generate sequential URLs for version control therefore they do not have file extensions on them.
e.g. if I wanted to have an icon for a file on Google Drive, the icon (presumably a Google Drive icon) would only appear on URLs containing something I have specified: in this case “docs.google.com”.
Furthermore Google Drive also uses the specific file type in the path so I could use a different icon for “docs.google.com/spreadsheet” etc etc
Just an idea that would be cool to have.

In reply to: [Active Directory Integration] WP accounts as well as AD accounts?Hello, I’d like to know the answer to this too, I’m having problems with users trying to log in who aren’t in the AD, but still have WP usernames.
If I deactivate the plugin, change the password for the user, then activate the plugin, it doesn’t allow the user access. When I deactivate the ADI plugin the WP users can log in fine. It’s strange, sometimes it will work and then it won’t after a day.I would also like this system to be introduced, tried the comma thing but that didn’t work.
I would like to add all .pdf, .docs, .ppts etc to open in a new window/tab, but I can only add a single specification.
Temporary solution was to specify all links containing ‘/wp-content/uploads/’ to open a blank target, but that would also include every file in that directory, I’ve excluded jpgs, but then I’m also missing out on excluding audio, video, jpegs, gifs, png etc.
So a way you can enter multiple Includes and Excludes would be a great enhancement, otherwise this is on the right track and very useful plugin to avoid having to trawl through 100+ page WP and add _blank manually to the links. Thanks!
Hello,
Loving the buzz on this plugin. Would really like to see something similar to the request above but it might be asking for the moon on a stick.
When switching between Visual and HTML editor I would like the cursor to be in the corresponding places, similar to Dreamweaver. This is not a personal request but a client one as they rely on this for a quicker workflow. I have tried searching high and low for something that does this but it seems a bit complex. I understand that there is an ability to ‘Find’ where I was but if there is an even quicker way to achieve the above that would be great.
Another suggestion is a Find and Replace, Find All and Replace All options.
Okay I’ll shut up now,
Great plugin!
