I tried one of the image on one of my test installs and it also wouldn’t make thumbnails. I then opened it in photoshop and saved it out again in case there was something wrong with the file and it now works. Give https://hyperimage.info/files/1/nicecap-sm.jpg a try.

Does 1and1 give you phpmyadmin access since then you could just export the part of the database that you want.

You get that message when WordPress can’t connect to the database. Check your wp-config.php to make sure it has the correct information and contact yahoo support about the database not connecting.

Is there anything different between those images and ones they worked? Different file type? Really large file size?

I did try to edit the links out both with the WYSIWYG and the HTML editor along with trying to remove the custom fields and it still won’t go back. It’s 2 custom field entries both with the key of author and 2 different values.

No ideas?

I just tried it with ie7 and had no issue. I queued it for some screenshots at https://browsershots.org/https://filmgrenade.com/ which will test it a bunch of browsers and show you the results.

Any idea what is? I’m not sure if that’s the cause be it looks a little weird.

If the domain will be the same all you should need to do is make a database on the new server and move a backup from the old one to the new one and then copy over the website files. You might need to edit the wp-config.php for the new database info. If you don’t know how to backup and import a database then I would ask both hosts for help with that.

It should be below page parent and above page order in the advanced options area

If you want to change it on the homepage, then edit your index.php and find

<?php the_content('Read the rest of this entry...'); ?>

and change it to

<?php the_content('Read more...'); ?>

It looks like you have a few plugins on that add information to the posts page. Have you tried turning them off to see if that clears it up.

You can use the remove max width plugin to make the admin stretch out to fill the width of your screen. There may be one to center but I don’t know of it.
