This issue was traced to a conflict with another plugin; so this issue does not need addressing.

Having the same issue as Peter.Ingersoll & others here… Social Publisher feature is not publishing description/body copy to Fanpage (or Author’s timeline).

for the life of me, i could swear this snippet is following the EXACT protocols on that codex page, unless my eyes have gone numb to something wrong here. ???
