I am trying to do something very similar to Velanche. This code seems to be working perfectly except it makes my categories disappear. Is there a simple tweak to keep this formatting (Posted by (Author) on (Date) at (Time) and then display categories on a second line in the entry-meta section?

Edit: Not sure if this is possible, but what I’d really like to do styling-wise is put the categories or tags ABOVE the entry header styled in all caps. So ideally what it would be look like is:

CATEGORY 1, CATEGORY 2, CATEGORY 3
Post Title
By (author) on (date) (time)

edit AGAIN: seems to be working with safari on a friend’s computer. could be the changes i made weren’t reflected until feedburner updated, or could just be a template/browser issue. weird.

edit: My feed doesn’t display links either. So if you could help with that too, even better. Bah.

what could be generating that “<!– D([“mb”,”” script? That looks like the problem as it appears right where the text cuts off in Safari & IE.

as for the dozens of validation errors… yeesh. i’m not nearly savvy enough to clean those up without breaking stuff even more.

thanks for your help markezz. this code helped some, but there is still a thin visible border on the right side and thick ones on the top and bottom. arrgh. maybe i’ll just stop embedding videos!

i’m gettting a syntax error on that code that i’m not savvy enough to correct on my own. ideas? am i inserting it wrong (replacing it line by line in the section corresponding to “gv_returnYTObject”), or should i wipe out the whole gv_returnYTObject section and replace it with your code?

just tried monkeying around with that – no dice. that code was cut & pasted straight from the directions without editing it when I installed the plugin, anyway.

blargh. frustrated.

Weird. I just tried it from my work computer and it went through fine.
