This announcement seems to indicate that what I need is actually possible. As I said, the correct parent and grandparent menu items are being given the unique classes of rmp-menu-item-current-parent and rmp-menu-item-current-ancestor in the free version. And the feature for the Pro version says ‘Added option to highlight active parent menus’. Isn’t this what I need to be able to achieve that ‘breadcrumb’? Showing the user the path to the current page?

Can you show me a screenshot of the UI for this feature?

Replied to your email, but this is what I sent if anyone else is similarly curious,

The ‘breadcrumb’ trail I am referring to is indeed the highlighting of the menu items that a user has to click to get to where they are now. This functionality works on my existing website thanks to a DW plugin from ProjectSeven.

If you navigate away from the homepage you can see the menu items of the path to the current page highlighted in orange, and this functionality is at least 14 years old. I believe, from reading the release notes and looking at the css classes applied to parent and grandparent menu items that the pro version should be able to accomplish that functionality, however none of the screenshots of the UI for the RM controls show that it is possible, hence my enquiry.

Also, does the Pro version allow for different styling of menu colors and backgrounds on a per sub-level basis? So can  sub-level3 and 4 can be styled differently to sub-level2 for example?

    Many thanks,

    Hywel Harris
