Good to know, as there aren’t many decent commercial products for this. I can use flexslider, but it’s a bit of a faff to set-up
Thank youHello and thank you for the quick response.
I see, so knowing that it is possible to have several featured images on a post, would the slider differentiate between these?

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Fluid TypographyHello David, yes, all is clear now thank you and I have my variables working globally, via the customiser.
Cheers

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Fluid TypographyAgree, although there are nuances to adding the variable in the customiser. Having been used to doing this in Oxygen, which is virtually the same, the method there is to change the units from PX, to a dash (-), which represents, custom input.
So, maybe adding something very basic to the documentation along these lines could be of some use, as well as alerting anyone attempting this, that the text won’t scale in the customiser area!
It might even save you a good few support hours, if there are some notes to hand.
I think I’m good now though – Cheers!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [GeneratePress] Fluid Typography***Update*** I found a missing semi-colon in the stylesheet, which has fixed the problem on the front-end. I still don’t see the text scaling in the back-end, but that’s fine.
Could you point me please to the documentation?

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Fluid TypographyThanks for the link to the generator David, I use a similar but different tool and this part of adapting fluid typography is working, just as long as I enter the CSS into the customiser and not my childtheme stylesheet.
However, I only see the results on the front-end and never in the customiser, but I can live with this.
I know this is a new feature, are there instructions available yet?

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Fluid TypographyHello, I would say it’s partially resolved. Everything works fine, when I enter the CSS in the customiser area, but stops working if I transfer the CSS to the stylesheet of my child theme.
I can live with it, unless you know of something daft, I might have done, but otherwise, the rest of the CSS in the stylesheet is fine..Is there anything yet int the documents about fluid typography? I can’t find any

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Fluid TypographyThank you, yes this is clear and just to clarify my question, I want to add this clamp string below, to the root CSS and then assign it in the customiser, as you explained with your own example
–header-h1: clamp(2.2rem, calc(2.2rem + ((1vw – 0.36rem) * 0.1266)), 3.8rem);

In reply to: [GenerateBlocks] ACF Options pageWe’ve used the free theme and blocks to create two projects now and despite their being quite a learning curve with your products, but also the whole Gutenberg experience, we think we can transition to your paid versions and continue on successfully, without our current page builder (Oxygen)
Thank youForum: Plugins
In reply to: [GenerateBlocks] ACF Options pageHello, I have figured it out. I added a shortcode function to my functions.php file and now I can insert my options content via shortcode in side of a GB heading block!
It’s long winded, but it works; however, is this functionality on the roadmap?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [GenerateBlocks] ACF Options pageOkay, so if I can’t use Generate blocks, am I able to enter the ACF code manually, in the traditional way?

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Single post templateGutenberg as a standalone product is incapable for our use as reasonably well experienced designers, but I do agree that with GP and GB, it’s there, or thereabouts a workable solution to our current preferred tool of Oxygen.
Our agency purchased three Cwicly licences, but never built anything serious with it, due to the complexity of the UI and while waiting for it to mature, so if we can get our head around this particular project with your products, I think we shall become converts.
I am grateful for the speed of support, which has been excellent, thank you again for this

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Single post templateThanks David, as many others indeed, I’ve avoided Gutenberg at all costs, since trying it during its inception and loathing it. So, I’m finding it is still very unintuitive and this likely cascades down into the GP + GB products, so I’m biting my lip here, as I try to get over the learning hump!

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Single post templateThank you for the additional links David, I’ll digest these and will more than likely trial the product. I do have one issue with this, which is the currency conversion, which will hit me, if I do ask to cancel. (Not your fault)
Can I assume (as with oxygen) when using the element builder, I have options to either create a block and insert this into the current single post template, or even, create a new template entirely, which overrides the standard single post template?
I’m assuming also that my custom post types will appear as selectable templates?
Thanks again for your assistanceForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [GeneratePress] Single post templateHi David, great response time and thanks for the heads up.
Okay, so could you point me in the direction of additional relevant resources please, so I can at least familiarise myself with this task, before purchasing premium?
I could currently build this site quite easily in Oxygen, but with the uncertain future of their product, I’ve taken the opportunity of trialling GP and GB, since this is a relatively straight forward project.
