Since the latest upgrade, iTunes is reporting our feed as invalid:

“The Expert Witness Radio Show >> Podcast Feed” does not seem to be a valid podcast URL.

The feed was working fine until the upgrade – for a long time now.

They are both set to “use the excerpt” – and nope – we don’t excerpt manually. Hope this helps!

Nope – we’re not using the placeholder. Just using the standard media insert (see screenshot: https://www.expertwitnessradio.org/expertss.png ).

We do have it at the start, because out posts can be lengthy – we don’t want folks having trouble finding the podcast, and we want them to be able to play the podcast as they’re reading.

I did temporarily disable the download text from the options screen. We’ll see what happens. Bu tin the meantime, if you come up with a fix, please let us know!

Well that’s just the point. There IS no CSS for it – but it’s ignoring the CSS for widgets from the theme.

Figured it out.

Using the Atahualpa theme.

Because the widget defaults the title to a link – it takes on the widget link attributes of the theme instead of the title attributes.

Sorry we didn’t post a followup sooner. The problem was with neither. It was WP-minify clogging it all up. Got rid of that, and everything worked perfectly.
