Please try disabling the?Modsecurity?on your hosting server (you could do this on your Cpanel or asking to your hosting provider. We have already seen some similar issues and it was caused by this app.

Please test if there is a conflict with your theme or another plugin. Please make sure to disable all other plugins besides The Events Calendar and our other plugins, revert to a default theme like 2020, and see if this problem goes away.

If you are referring to the Main Guest email field, there is not an easily way to make that Optional, because the system has no other way of notifying the person of their confirmed RSVP.
?
You would have to do some serious custom coding which is not something we really support.

We’ve had the URL translation bug between The Events Calendar and WPML. However, it has been recently fixed. Please make sure to update The Events Calendar to its latest version.

If you use the Default Page Template, please uncheck Show comments option under Events >> Settings >> Display and you will have one comment box available on the frontend.
