I’m having the same issue, trying to switch from one newsletter plugin (gsom / G-Lock Optin) to MailPoet, and getting a blank screen once I submit a block of input from the text box.
And dlpacweb: MailPoet is really excellent: I’m using it on a newer project and am greatly looking forward to replacing the old newsletter plugin!
