Also this problem started when I upgraded to 2.0

Okay, actually I copied the file from my other domain to this one and everything is solved, which doesn’t make sense to me since it’s the same file.

(1) Yes, it’s the root.

(2) There is no .htaccess created in 2.0, apparently, so I created one and copyed+pasted what was written in ‘Options -> Permalink’.

I have another WordPress blog that I upgraded from 1.5.2, which had an .htaccess file, and it works fine.

Getting this error when installed and trying to back up:

Right, right, I’ve used WP for almost 2 years, I Know how it works. But I don’t create drafts without finishing them, and even at that, I don’t really create drafts.

Jenns, it probably is an issue on your end. I had this problem a few weeks ago and I just kept refreshing and the problem went away. Just because one blog is able to access the database doesn’t mean that the other one will.

Also, the way you are describing your problem — and the problem itself — is very general.

Okay now it’s happening again.

Okay this is wierd .. I wrote a post — and I have wrote several since this problem started — and after I hit post, I hit Managed and it works.

Also when I click ‘Manage’ in IE, I get a ‘page cannot be displayed’ error. When I refresh it works. When I click ‘Manage’ again, I get a ‘page cannot be displayed’ error.

Way ahead of you, I tried that first.

Nope, still getting the error.
