Hi Frank – I work with David and I’d like to chip in on this thread, if we can. We’re having an issue with Adminimize for the Shop Manager role. This is not a issue with assigning capabilities to user roles, it is an issue with hiding menu items.
On our back end, we have ticked both ‘Reports’ and ‘Settings’ to be hidden from the Shop Manager role, and yet both are visible in their back end when logged in as Shop Manager. We would like Reports to be visible, but not settings, and yet Adminimize is not working like that – the result is inconsistent, and doesn’t match the settings.
