In reply to: Excessive Spider crawl after using All-in-One Event CalendarThanks for your response guys. Hey Pioneer, there’s a couple of good ideas. I’ll implement those and report back.
@pascal:If all they do is crawl I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
If my host will agree to that I will too. After all, it’s my host who are bugging me about cpu usage ??

In reply to: [WP Error Fix] Mushrooming error logs but fixed promptly by DeveloperThanks Vasyl, that’s excellent.
With a limit on the log size I would use this plugin again.
On reflection due to your responsiveness I should probably have posted my concern in the support section first. So I’ll edit the original post…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Plugin does not have valid headerAll I did was open the file all-in-one-event-calendar.php in the root of the plugin and on the first lines change the initial /** to /*
Then I went back and reactivated it. That got it working, and it took me to a splash page that said “All-in-One Event Calendar Notice: You are using the Lite Calendar. This edition of the plugin is no longer supported” And then a button to “Upgrade to the Standard Calendar for free”
I pressed that which installed an update, then automatically removed the old plugin. Now it works fine ??Forum: Plugins
