I am having this problem also. I added a widget to the general sidebar but it does not display on pages even though it should.

Where is the wp_footer() function supposed to be? I’m a bit confused, but I believe I’m experiencing this same problem.

While I have your attention, I’d like to insert a button into the theme subheader. Is there a way to do this in the .php file in the editor?

I am having another issue, however. I am currently trying to make changes in the “Customize” section and if I make a quick edit/change and save it is fine, but if I make several edits “Customize” editor for very long then I get a frozen page and the entire site crashes. The page won’t load for several minutes and all my changes get lost.

Any idea what is causing this?
