Ok, the asame for me. The solution worked sometimes and stopped. Now the picture appears on the sharing screen, but not on the facebook post itself !

what I don’t understand is why some wordpress blog don’t have the same problem. I saw many examples. It may be a plugin installed individually that conflicts with the sharing.

any ideas ?

I added what you said (the plugin) and not only the permalink worked, but the sharing as well !!!! Thanks ………. so much.

I’m using addtoany and have the same problem. pictires (thumnails) do not show, only the description. I did not put the meta, it used to word on WordPress 3.0 ant then it stopped. I see that other wordpress sites work well.

did anyone discover what is provoquing the problem ?

I have the same problem, I tried to follow the instructions of facebook and inserted the code before the </head> of the my theme at the header.php file.

The code inserted was:
<meta name=”title” content=”title” />
<meta name=”description” content=”description ” />
<link rel=”image_src” href=”thumbnail_image” / >

and now I have the word “description on the facebook share ant still no images.

I’m quite new here, I have spent hours yesterday trying to figure it ou … The share (with images) worked till somedays ago and stopped, now only description. More than 3 days with the problem , actually.

Can anyone give the path to correct it ? My site is https://parisrivedroiterivegauche.com
