Not sure if this helps or not, but we experienced the same issue (also Eastern time), when I had the Simple Calendar timezone set to the default of “Events source default”. When I changed the setting to “Site default (America/New York)”, the times began to display correctly. This was the case for both the widget and the shortcode.

In reply to: [WP Document Revisions] All document links are now broken?OK, an update to help others who might run across this issue (& hopefully you, CorwinRathe)… Kinda embarrassing that I didn’t realize this before because I was staring right at the problem, but it has to do with moving the site to a different server…
On the Settings | Media | Document Upload Directory, I had to change the directory to match my new server full path. So in my case, it changed from
/home/content/52/5919852/html/mysite.org/wp-content/uploads
to
/home/myaccount/public_html/mysite.org/wp-content/uploadsHope this helps some of the others who have experienced this same issue.

In reply to: [WP Document Revisions] All document links are now broken?I think I am having the same issue. When trying to upload a document using the single document uploader, I get the error:
Unable to create directory uploads. Is its parent directory writable by the server? Also, all links to existing docs are broken. When we try to view a doc, the link goes to:
https://vahi.org/documents/2015/04/example.xlsx
but it does not exist.I am running WordPress 4.2.2, and Document Revision 2.0.0, on a php 5.5 server.
Under Media Settings, My Document Upload Directory is set to /home/content/52/5919852/html/mysite.org/wp-content/uploads.
Media Settings | My Document Slug is set to https://mysite.org/documents/2015/05/example-document-title.txt.Under Documents, when I click on a doc, the permalink says:
https://mysite.org/documents/2015/04/example.xlsx ?when I look through cPanel, I did not have any directory in the root of the website, other than the usual 3 wp- folders. So, I added a documents folder to see if that helped, but it did not.
Recently, we moved from php 5.3 (I think) to php5.5. The last time I know that the plugin was working is 4/7/2015, which is before moving to php5.5.
I have looked for the missing files, and cannot find them in any of the directories, which seems very odd. I have also checked some of our backups to no avail.
Any ideas? Thanks so much for your help! We have really enjoyed this plugin!!!

In reply to: [Redirection] i want to remove this plugin completely from databaseSorry, mine was a caching issue, so I am not sure about yours if uninstalling does not remove it.

In reply to: [Redirection] Redirect Stuck, Even After Uninstalling PluginOK, I wish I could delete… There was something stuck in cache – after I cleared it, redirect was gone. Sorry – it was happening on multiple browsers & I didn’t think that was the issue… All good.

In reply to: [Redirection] i want to remove this plugin completely from databaseHi! Me, too. I was trying out the plugin, and it didn’t quite accomplish what I needed. Now I have a stuck redirection. If I find a solution, I will post.
Hi! Thanks for the response! I have posted something on the ft-cal plugin support site, too.
In the meantime, I looked at the database, and the wp_posts.post_date is unchanged on the post that sorts to the top; it stays 6-12-2013. There is only an entry added to the wp_ftcalendar_events table with the event date of 10-6-2013.
Any idea? I’m not real sure how the WP_Query works, but will try to study that, too. I just thought this plugin would look at the post_date for sorting. Any other suggestions on things to examine?
Thanks again!

In reply to: [FT Calendar] FT Calendar breaks post order by dateHi! We are experiencing a similar issue. Our posts were sorted in DESC, but now all posts that have a calendar event associated with them sort by the calendar event date instead of the post date. Any ideas?
Another clue… I recently noticed this has to do with posts that have Full-Throttle calendar plug-in events associated with them. Any ideas on how to fix this? I’m not sure why it is sorting on the Full-Throttle calendar date instead of the post date. Thanks for your help!
If you look at this page, I’ve added the date display to help see the order.
When I change the order to ASC, it seems to sort correctly, just not DESC. I’ll post more info as I have it.
Thanks!

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Error 500 on BackupThanks for the suggestion. I was able to backup the database only. Then I tried the files, but it failed with the same error as above. I tried the files only again, excluding the wp-content/uploads directory and it was successful.
Is the file size too large? The files only without uploads is 100MB, and the database only is 6MB. Then I wanted to try to find a way to backup the uploads, but when I went into the excludes option, I got the error: This content failed to load. Are the problems that our uploads directory are too large? Do you have any suggestions on how to get this to work so that I can also get the uploads directory backed up?
Thanks so much!

In reply to: [Posts for Page] 2 Older Posts Stuck at Top of ListI am really sorry. I didn’t notice that the plugin on the page was changed to a different one, so this doesn’t apply. My apologies!

In reply to: [Posts for Page] Featured Image ResizingI totally understand. Thanks for looking at it!

In reply to: [Posts for Page] Featured Image ResizingHi! Yes, it’s vahi.org. This page has the thumbnails.
I sort of figured it out, but it still doesn’t work exactly as I was hoping. I was able to modify the thumbnail of some of the graphics, but some graphics we want to use as thumbnails are vertical rectangles. So, by using the force_image_width=”150″, that fixes the rectangular thumbnail images that we want to use that are horizontal. But I can’t use force_image_height=”150″ at the same time b/c then it forces the thumbnail to be square & crops it. Basically, I want to be able to shrink the image to fit into a 150 x 150 thumbnail, regardless of whether it is horizontal or vertical. Does that make sense?
For example, you can look at the Barefoot Mountain Farms post on vahi.org. If you click through, you’ll see the graphic that I really want to display. But, I cropped it to make the thumbnail for the home page.
Thanks for looking at this!
Hi! I’m just checking in on this. I updated to version 3.6.2, but it looks like the divs are still inside a table, so I cannot move them. Am I missing something? Or maybe there is a work-around that I haven’t thought of?
Thanks for your help!
