In reply to: Error message in wp-adminThanks, esmi. Much appreciated. Problem solved. FYI, I removed bwp-recaptcha first, but the problem persisted. I next removed Font — problem solved. Perhaps that means Font was the actual source of the problem, but I’m not using either of them anymore.
Thanks again.

In reply to: WP is eating my postsThanks for trying. I thought I solved the problem when I turned off WP proofreading. Alas, it just bit me again. For the time being, I’m writing all my posts in the cloud and maintaining them there until ready to go, then just copy-and-paste into WP and publish.

In reply to: WP is eating my postsFrustrating? You have NO idea! *laughing* I’m using the most recent versions of Firefox.

In reply to: WP is eating my postsokay, now it’s happening on my brand-new iMac desktop, as well. Why is this happening and what can I do to stop it?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Related posts pluginDid that. Most either have not been update to work with WP 3.1.3 or they say the related posts only show up when the viewer enters the blog from a search engine. Was just wondering if someone knew of something current that works well for any viewer, whether they land on the blog from a search engine or not.

In reply to: Google AdSense — placing the code snippetThanks, Samuel. I may try them both, but I’ll start with yours first.

In reply to: Google AdSense — placing the code snippetMany thanks, Samuel. Between the two of these plugins, knowing what I need to do, which would you recommend?

In reply to: Where is Twenty Ten 1.2?Yes, you’re right. I deactivated it and everything now displays as it should. I am seriously grateful for your help.

In reply to: WordPress CSS messed upI deactivated the W3TC plugin and voila, it worked! Didn’t even bother reverting to the last version. LEaving it alone until the next incarnation of WP3. Thanks from me too, alchymyth!

In reply to: Where is Twenty Ten 1.2?I reinstalled WordPress 3.1.2 and found Twenty Two 1.2 listed among my themes. So I activated it…and lo and behold, the original problem of the lost CSS stylesheet returned.
I still can’t fix it, but I at least I can see the problem in the header:
https://imblacknitravel.com/wp-content/w3tc/min/a760f3df2fad2dbadaa56579ab3a52a9.499329804.css
And when you click on it, you still get:
“Bad file param format.”
It’s not a plugin issue; I deactivated ALL the plugins.
Under the Performance section of the Dashboard, you get this error message:
“Content Delivery Network Error: The “Replace default hostname with” field must be populated. Enter CDN provider hostname. (This is the hostname used in order to view objects in a browser.)”
I switched the Minify mode to “manual.” I emptied every cache that I could. the results are still the same.
I’m now at a loss. I love the Twenty Ten theme, but I can’t use it until this bug gets fixed.

In reply to: WordPress CSS messed upI ran into something similar involving the Twenty Ten theme. Deactivated all the plugins and emptied the cache. It didn’t help in my case.
