• The free version is way to limited the only changes you can make edit the header change logo or change template colors.

• I just want to add a email address button in the footer I am not able to.

This is possible. As said before, when you use the footer editor, in the free version you can add Widgets Area to the footer and then you can use the Widgets editor to edit the area of your footer. Not only the email button, but you can add any widget to the footer.

• The WP default widget editor is gone when you run this template you have to use the 95% locked template widget editor for free users.

This is not true. Not only have we not removed the widget editor, we also support dynamic widget areas. You can add widget elements in the home page builder or in the footer builder, and when you save them, you can find them in the widget editor and edit it in the way you are familiar with.
