WordPress 1.52 really owns, best blog script i’ve ever used!

You should contact bluehost.

If you used Fantastico you should install it manually first (afther you deleted every wordpress file incl. database).

If you installed it manually try to use fantatico OR download a new copy of wordpress and try it again, perhaps some file is corrupt.

Just edit the sidebar. For adding categories, latest comment, headlines, recently editted etc stuff install the coffee2code catgories plugin.

Done it ??

I now have 1 post per categorie + 10 (or 5) headlines below the category post. All on the indexpage ??

Is it possible with this plugin to show the time as well?

I’d like to use this plugin ( https://www.coffee2code.com/archives/2004/08/27/plugin-customizable-post-listings/ ) but i can’t get it to work.

On my mainpage i would like 5 posts (with read more) and below it the headlines off 25 other posts (preferrable with time/date in front).

Iam using the Blix theme and wp1.5.2

What i did:
– Download & Upload the plugin
– Activate it
– Pasted one of the funtions above into the index.php in the exerp(not the regular index.php but the one into the provided by blix, in the same folder as the side bar).

When i reload the page i get an error.

Could you please help me out?

I installed it without any problems, but the id in <img src=”https://url.com&lt;?php echo the_category_ID() ?>.png” alt=”Category: <?php the_category() ?>” /> always remain the same. No matter what radiobutton i use.

Top Cat or something simular is what iam looking for i assume. Thanks a lot for the tip. I’ll contacted Bennett from Top Cat and if it works out i’ll post the solution to all my posts so everyone can enjoy it ??

That theme uses different categories (full story) next to eachother. That’s not so hard and not the problem.

Iam looking for an option to break <?php BX_get_recent_posts($p,10); ?> into two sides.

Most don’t use WordPress so unfortunatelly CG-FeedRead is not an option.

The problem with Magpie RSS (excuse me if iam wrong) is thatevery user needs to install the whole script if iam correct. Isn’t there a more simplistic script that provides a simple copy&paste (js)script for the end-users?

Yes it is theire job but i would like to provide them a cut&paste code for two simple reasons:

1. Your headlines on other websites usually means more visitors and a higher backlink ammount.
2. I just want to be nice to my visitors and provide them with a code they ask for.

I don’t mean next to the post but next to the textual content of the post. Like hacktopia.org or volkomenkut.com
