    I just did a test normal when I post word like {don’t have} what will get saved is only {don} I have to edit the word to become {don’t have} in order for it to save the full text.
    What I did is to go to the Phpadmin and edit the post from there, when I but {don’t have} and click on save, it will save the post; however when i preview the post on admin panel I see this dona€?t have! can you advice on this? where could be the problem.

    @esmi my host installed a fresh wordpress site and then did a restore for my database, everything was there except for my theme which was not working and I have to reinstall it and configure it, images for blog posts was missing, old WordPress files was on a different folder, but to fix my blog posts and images I had to copy the files from the old folder to the new folder. However my host said now that they have scanned my website and there is nothing suspicious also my host said that my website mod_security has been disabled, they said nothing is alerting at there side and everything looks normal, however I am still having the same issue and I am still not able to access my website using Internet explorer with the same username and password.

    @esmi,

    The same website that we are talking about, that have the issue with posting has been hacked. My host is the one whom did the restore for me so this is why I though it should be perfect and if there is any issue it should be from somewhere else, because as soon as my website has been restored I installed the same security plugins on all my blogs but this blog is the only one that get this issue.

    Yes, When my host tried to escape from this issue and told me they turned Sec mod off and there is nothing from there side, I did asked them for this and I think now they are getting serious about it. I request the password change through my web host management tool and it will automatically change Cpanel and FTP Password.

    @esmi,

    I think there is something serious on this blog, as before 4 days I sent a request to change my Cpanel password for 2 blogs, password should update automatically within 24 hours, although it has been changed for my other blog, it didn’t change for this blog.

    I am using many other plugins but I am using the very same plugins with two other blogs but don’t have the post issue or logging into IE issue!

    @esmi,

    The web host has replied as below

    ((Your account has now been updated and mod_security has been disabled.))

    He asked to delete my web cache which I did but I still have the same thing. I am using Google Chrome. The odd thing that I have tried to use another browser to check if it could be from my browser but I couldn’t even logon to my panel using IE with the same username and Password!

    @esmi,
    Thanks for your quick response, I have just sent them email asking them for help. As I have seen some where else here about similar problems that have been reported and needed the interaction of the host, since sometimes it could be host firewall or security settings that is causing this. I will let you know about their response.

    @esmi,

    Thanks for your response, I just confirmed that .haccess file on my website is having

    if Mod_Security on
    SecFilterScanEngine off
    SecFilterScanPOST off

    I have deactivate the plugin and still the same problem is there, what do you suggest I should try now.

    @esmi,
    thanks for your quick response. No I didn’t check with them, but before doing so, is this Mod_security configuration server wide or site wide. Because I am having three sites with the same host, out of which two hosted on the same server, the 3 blogs almost having the same settings and plugins, except this site which I am using the BulletProof plugin to harden my .htaccess file, this is what made me think that this should be the problem! am I right?

    @esmi,

    Thank you so much for your kind warning. I am just new here and see the topic which is very similar to my problem so I though it would be better to post at the same place to prevent working on the same issue twice.

    However I understand your concern that it could be totally different issue, so that I will start a new topic.

    I was looking for the same issue, I though that it’s only me how is having this strange and frustrating problem, I really understand how frustrated you are, as I had to retype or re copy the same text again and again to see when the text stop when i hit save to know which character is wrong and have to change it, the same characters you reported trigger the same issue for me. I have 3 blogs which almost the same setup and same plugins and the other two sites work the same, the only difference between the one that is working and the one that is not working is the BulletProof Security has created a htaccess Core and here I think the problem could be.

    I am not a wordpress technically professional in coding so I would really appreciate if someone can tell what do I need to check or update in the htaccess file.

    Please help as this is really time consuming task to keep editing the text tell it save the full post.

    I had exactly the same experience, after my website has been hacked my web host restored my website into new installation, however I did restore for my old database, my theme was missing and most of my blog images were deleted. After restoring the blog, activating and configuring some security plugins I noticed that I receive exactly the same message when I check Jetpack states, the image is still shown in the banner.

    Also when editing old posts or adding new posts and hit the publish button, the published article will not be complete text and would stop at special characters not only in the post but anywhere at my blog, even if I want to add a code or anything it don’t accept some charter and refuse to save as if it didn’t type them in.

    Could any one please help, I would really appreciate it.

    Hi,

    I am having the exact same error, I think this happened after activating sand configuring some security plugins, I am not sure if this is the cause but this is what i noticed. I am receiving the same error.

    Also I am having a problem that whenever I add or edit posts all blog will not save all the post text and I had to change some characters in order for my blog to accept the whole post text.

    Any help would be appreciated.
