Before I would consider this workaround, I would look for an alternative plugin which could work with Avada.

As I mentioned before, the Yoast plugin used to work well with Avada but the latest update caused this issue. If Yoast is not going to support the Avada theme then it would be better to switch to a plugin that does.

We have built this website using Avada Fusion builder over 7 years ago and have been using Yoast SEO plugin since then. We did not have this issue before. Seems the latest update to Yoast plugin has caused this issue.

Would Yoast technical team look into this matter and release a fix? Please do let me know.

It would be far quicker and cheaper for us to use a different SEO plugin which works with Avada than to migrate our website to Elementor.

This file has been in place for a long time. Could be years.

However, I only switched on “Block unwanted bots” about 3 months ago.?

One more questions I have, should I have this entry in the file?

I looked at the recommended guidelines and it is bare minimum.

Yes, Google and Bing would remove the unregistered URL parameters. There are only 2 of those anyway.

I am concerned about the large number of these unregistered URL parameters from unknown bots.

This issue was resolved by switching off the open graph function of the theme.

There was a conflict between Yoast plgin and the theme re the open graph function.

As you pointed out, this issue was due to duplicate open graph and meta tag. We resolved this issue by switching off the theme’s open graph function.

Yes, I am not sure why the plugin is inlcuding the logo as the second OG image and overriding the main image.

This issue does not exist when blog posts are shared on WhatsApp, only the pages.

I will undertake the coflict test on our staging site and report back. I will use the health check again.

Going to a developer means that he will write a customise piece of HTML which I would like to avoid.
