In reply to: [Block Gallery - Photo Gallery Gutenberg Blocks] Showing caption on hoverGreat! Thanks for your reply
I’ve been looking around a bit for some ideas. I’ll list some of the things I came across and liked:
1. Fading in (lazy load). Masonry gallery doesn’t really work well with the Jetpack lazy load option. I like the way cargocollective.com handles it. Subtly fading in when scrolling down the gallery. (example: https://roniahn.com)
2. Randomly spaced gallery. Cargocollective also has an option to add a random effect to a gallery, a bit like a masonry grid but with more spacing and random sizes. I like how it breaks the grid, and makes the gallery a bit more playful. example (https://claralarosa.com)
3. Custom shapes. Found this page (https://bennettfeely.com/clippy/) It’s nice to give the images in the gallery different shapes with custom CSS (Already works with block gallery but maybe nice to directly implement it).
4. For the captions, besides the “show caption on hover option” I also think a caption below the image instead of on top of the image would be a nice option to have.
Wow that is fast! Works perfectly, thanks for the heads up!
I have the exact same problem (vertical gutter is twice as big as the horizontal gutter). The problem occurs with the Baskerville theme (also by Anders Noren). Have not been able to solve the issue as of yet. Please let me know if you find a solution. Thanks!
PS: On the theme Photoblogster the horizontal gutter is twice as big as the vertical gutter

In reply to: [Baskerville] Support for GutenbergWow that was really fast, thanks ?? The wide option is working great now!
For the second issue; on the page linked below you see two images aligned next to eachother in a gallery that are different in vertical size, however in the editor they are equal in vertical size.

In reply to: [Baskerville] Support for GutenbergI see the theme has been updated! Only some Gutenberg features do not seem to working correctly, maybe this is a bug? Or do I need Baskerville-2?
– Full width images seems to be working in the example page, but I can not select ‘full width’ or ‘wide’ in the image-alignment-selector popup
– And some images placed side-by-side in a gallery do not align properlyForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Baskerville] Support for GutenbergThanks for the update Anders, that is great news! ??

In reply to: No line breaks at all, in my themeIt’s on this website: https://ivodekogel.nl/blog/
For example: In the WYSIWYG editor and the TwentyTen theme the last lines on the first post (see below) are separated by line breaks. But in my theme it’s just one line.
