Hi rpielanen. Did you ever find a solution to this issue? I’m experiencing the same thing in that the images don’t get matched as the imports post ids change.

I had the same thing happen me if anyone has an answer?

I did a normal export and import
Then export/import using the Export Featured Image plugin
Images upload but don’t attache as featured to the post.

Using on a multisite and worked for some subsites but not others

Apologies, It was down to another plugin conflicting with wordpress. Should have deactivated everything first
