Done. It doesn’t seem to have made a difference.

The opening code for the page is as follows (there are three similar uses of comments further down the page) and I appear to get a blank line for each of the lines of comment when the page is dislayed.

Is the GUI for the version of WordPress you download and instal essentially the same as the online version?
