In reply to: How to set the default pageHello elmalak ??
Thank you for your answer.
I am using “Theme My Login” as a plugin, but I am not sure if that handles it.Other than that plugin I don’t think that I have smt else handling it.
Right now, by default users go to the login page, and then to the edit profile page. I would like to change that, and automatically get them to another page.

In reply to: How to set the default pageHello Tara ??
Thank you for your answer. I think that I didn’t make myself very clear. I am not asking how to create a page.
My question is this :
Let’s say I have already created a page. Let’s call it “My default Page”.
Is there somewhere in WP, where I could set “My Default Page” as the page that all subscribers, as soon as they login, they see that specific page?

In reply to: Asking for First, Last Name during registrationHello and thank you for your help…
I am using that already for other fields.
However in this case I would have to create two more extra fields. This could definitely work, but I wouldn’t be using the default “First Name” and “Last Name” that comes in the DB of WP…
Isn’t there a way to use the default fields for First Name and Last Name?
Thanks ??

In reply to: User ManagementThank you !!
It seems that this is very close to what i was looking for!
It even allows the administrator to approve the members of the site. However,
I would like to ask for specific fields during registration in my site.
How can I set the fields asked during registration process?I don’t think that Theme My Login, allows me to do that?
Is there something which is by default on WP that allows me to do that?
Do I need a plugin? Also… how do I set the registration link, on the default entry screen of wp?

In reply to: Need advice on plugins to perform certain functionsThank you WpYogi for your answer.
As I told you I have already done this.
I have done my research and found certain plugins. But I am afraid that :
1. There might be other better ones that will do the job better that I haven’t found.
2. There are plugins that will do what I ask in a more “integrated” manner.
Also I expect that users that have used the plugins will know exactly the minimum requirements of each plugin. If their plugins can do much more than that, I don’t mind… it’s always nice. That is why I stated the minimum that I want done.
Anyway, it never hurts to ask the experts…

Yes I have.
As a matter of fact I have found several plugins that may fit what I want to do.The reason I have asked this question in this forum, is because I expect that seasoned WP users are lurking, and they have done already what I want to do.
So maybe they can direct me to exactly what I need, instead of trying out different plugins, and follow the trial and error method.
