I am experiencing this same issue. I tried all the methods described above.

In reply to: [Ditty – Responsive News Tickers, Sliders, and Lists] Ditty won’t saveI’m running Ditty, Ditty RSS, and Ditty Grid. I just purchased and downloaded Ditty Grid from the website today. I noticed it is something like version 1.0.2 while Ditty and Ditty RSS are both version 3-something. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it but it stood out to me.
I would also note that on the Settings page in Ditty the menu appears but nothing displays when I click on any of the options. It looks similar to the disappearing RSS feed in that it seems like an interface glitch.
I’ve tried in both Firefox and Chrome and gotten the same results.

In reply to: [Ditty – Responsive News Tickers, Sliders, and Lists] Ditty won’t saveI’m experiencing the same issue today (ditty won’t save) while trying to create a new Ditty RSS feed. Everything seems to work fine, including a preview of the feed, but when I click the Save Ditty button the content preview disappears and an empty DItty with no feed item is saved instead.
I’ve been working on the site quite a bit today and installed the following plugins: Onesignal, Better Messages, and the Ditty Grid extension.
I deactivated each of those plugins one by one, including Ditty Grid and was unable to save a new RSS Feed even then. Same result each time: set my display and layout, added the RSS feed, saw a content preview, clicked save, content disappeared and an “empty” Ditty was saved.
I tried looking at the page where I added the Ditty using Chrome’s developer tools but didn’t see any conflicts or errors that seemed relevant — but I am far from being a JS programmer.
