@longnguyen89 thanks…I’m pretty sure I would have checked that first, plus I never had them on there anyway before the update for WP happened, so something changed after that. Whether that option was already set or not, I can’t remember now but it should have been.

If I may chime in here, this appeared to happen after updating to the latest WP version. It happened on another theme as well. You change this in the customize section down in the WooCommerce section if you don’t want the sidebars there (or the General options/General settings). I had to change them after doing the update today.

Ahh so this is why I didn’t receive an update that one was out. I’m in the same boat. I’m still on 1.0. So basically you’re saying we have to reconfigure the whole theme again just to stay current?? Fantastic.

ok thank you for looking into this, glad it worked alright for you. My workaround was a better solution for me anyhow.

UPDATE: while this still didn’t pick up new products, even after going through Woo’s options for deleting transients and 2 others, I changed it to grab the product category instead of adding in each product individually (which works way better anyhow) and that solved it.

Not sure if it has anything to do with the update to WP’s latest version but you may want to test this out in case it’s a bug.

Hey @phillipwoo thanks for taking the time to try that out. I was expecting, like that PayPal one above it, to show what CC’s are accepted. It just looks sort of dodgy without saying what’s accepted or ‘Powered by Stripe’. At least someplace I can put that in the description? Is that just not how it works?

The site you’re on I did not enable that newer version of it (I did on the site under construction which does show the credit cards accepted without having to enter them first).

I’d still like to be able to modify or add to the description something about Stripe though. Is there a way to do that? The screenshot the guy earlier posted looks nothing like mine. The theme is OceanWP which does use its own Woo styling, but that should have nothing to do with the backend of it.

When is that newer version going to be the default and are there any problems with it so far?

thanks for your response. I was sort of hesitant to enable the newer checkout method because I wasn’t sure if you could revert back if there were issues with it. I’ve gone ahead and done that though and the cards show, so thank you for pointing that out.

I definitely do not have that section where I can change the description like you show in your screenshot. And now that I’ve gone to the new one, I can’t show you a screenshot. There was only 1 page for the stripe settings and it looks nothing like yours. It didn’t even mention Stripe as yours shows. Normally under the Woo/Settings/Payments where it has all of the possible methods (BACS, PayPal, Checks, etc.) I was always able to edit those and put something else in there but not for this plugin. When I click on Payment Methods/WooCommerce Payments/Manage it takes me straight to the one page for that plugin, no option still to change any kind of name for Credit Card/Debit Card (even after going to the new checkout version).
