Following up and marking this as resolved for if anyone with a similar issue comes across this – I reached out to GoDaddy as the issue looks to be in the payment gateway. A payment rep confirmed that the issue appears to be within GoDaddy Payments and is a known issue; this is being escalated for resolution.

Thank you for the response! I just tried Storefront specifically and am getting the same error message. I appreciate the suggestion though!
