2.1.2 is out, please update your Floating Sidebar plugin.@puda;
It is used to increase Facebook’s rate / request limit. Unfortunately it is new Facebook’s rules. Public API has very, very limited request limit so this caused a lot of problems such as shares are not being updated.Once you authenticate the application with your Facebook account, imagine it like requests are sent through your account. This way Facebook knows it is not a public request but it is a request done by one of its users so the limits are increased.
What did this change for Facebook
* FB knows how much a user should request / what should be the limit for that user.* FB also lowers the traffic / load to their servers thus reducing their costs.
All we can do is to follow their new rules and adjust the plugin to suit to their rules while providing best experience for users / website owners.
opss yeah you’re right! Floating Sidebar needs to be updated.
Let us work on it get release an update for it ASAP.I’m happy to hear that Dan. No, no need for extra settings for Floating Sidebar (that’s what I assume you mean by side bar).
