Ah its okay. It seems ‘Upload file’ is the button I need to press, even though the file already exists in WordPress. Confusingly worded IMHO.

Resolved this by renaming the wpdirauth folder in plugins to awpdirauth, then reactivate the plugin.

One thing you can try is to change the account filter. I had problems authenticating with samAccountName, but userprincipalname worked fine ??

I’ve looked in the header and wp_head() is only included once. But the JS in the footer is also being inserted twice too.
I’ve tried without the childtheme but that didn’t make any difference. I’ll try switch to the default theme and see what happens.

Hi Ron. But I thought the domain mapping plugin can override this?

But I found that Theme My Login caused the issue. On line 78 of class-theme-my-login-ms-signup.php there is:

if ( ! is_main_site() ) {
   wp_redirect( network_home_url( 'wp-signup.php' ) );
   exit;
}

I commented that out and MU Domain Mapping keeps the login/registration process on the subsite, instead of directing to the main site, as it did before.
