I’m trying to revisit this in case anybody has any additional ideas.

I am trying to figure out the easiest/fastest way to get a video from my phone to my WordPress blog, with hopefully a transcoded video and some sort of adaptive bitrate player, so it can serve people with different connection speeds.

Any thoughts on what the best approach is?

That’s kind of what I have come up with so far.

One thing I just realized is that the new YouTube app on Android has the option to share to WordPress, automatically inserting the embed code into the post. So while it’s not quite one-press, it’s still pretty good.

I don’t suppose you’ve ever gotten anywhere with this?

I would love to do the same thing. I’ve been searching through forums and plugins to see if anything can automatically put an excerpt of the post into a blank title, but so far I haven’t found anything.

Great idea. I think I’ll give that a try.
