UPDATE: The Google/Apple Pay payment option has been removed from the UPE section when the new checkout experience has been enabled in Stripe version 7.7.0.
It will continue to display at the top of the page as it does in the old checkout experience.

Hi @satindersingh,
I have taken a look at the logs and it looks like you are affected by this bug. I have asked the developers for a possible ETA or a workaround and will add to the GitHub thread.
I recommend following the issue in GitHub so that you do not miss this information and workaround.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Thumbnail sizes not reflected correctlyHi @simooo,
I completely understand. Since this is something that I cannot replicate on my end, there is a possibility that it could be something caused by your theme or a plugin on your site.
Since we do not have access to test further and you have a workaround that works, I think this is good for now.
I would go ahead and mark this thread as solved. If the issue comes up again, it would be best to do a full conflict test to see find where the issue is coming from.
All the best! ??

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Square plugin doesn’t work on Kinsta Hosting (redux)Hi @gb24,
I totally understand that this is not the response you were looking for. If you are looking for another payment method that allows in-person payment, I recommend using WooPayments which works with Woo In-Person Payments.
It is important to note that Woo In-Person Payments is only available for stores based in the U.S., Canada, or the U.K.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Square plugin doesn’t work on Kinsta Hosting (redux)Hi @gb24, it seems there is some misunderstanding around JsonMapper,
php.ini
and the?opcache.save_comments
config. The following info from the team should clarify:This is what the dependency looks like:
WooCommerce Square > Square SDK > JsonMapper > php.ini > opcache.save_comments
“But the JsonMapper issue was fixed? Why is it happening again?”
Previously whenopcache.save_comments
was disabled, there was a fatal error that was thrown by JsonMapper, which was visible upon the activation of the Woo Square plugin. This fatal error was later fixed and handled within JsonMapper, so that hosting providers that have
opcache.save_comments
disabled or if the access tophp.ini
was blocked, the fatal error could be gracefully handled. In Summary:
- The Square SDK is built using JsonMapper.
- JsonMapper still strictly relies on the access to the
php.ini
file. - JsonMapper still strictly relies on the value of the
opcache.save_comments
configuration.
Conclusion :
Woo Square will not work if:
opcache.save_comments
is disabled by hosting providers- Hosting providers prevent from accessing the
php.ini
file.
JsonMapper is a dependency of the Square SDK which the Woo Square plugin uses. Even if there were an alternative, we doubt if we could do anything about it from Woo Square.
I hope this helps clarify thing. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] works fine for online orders, but useless otherwiseThank you for clarifying further @andalusianworld.
If you are referring to accepting payment in your physical store using the in-person person payment method, it would be good to note that this can be done with Square but would require the Square POS.
I would be happy to share more details about this with you but since we cannot offer support in the review thread, I would recommend creating a support ticket so we can discuss this further. ??

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] SQUATE ERROR FATALHi @accelmovil,
Just to get a better understanding, you got the error message on an order on your site. Am I right?
If so, the Generic Decline error code means that Square is declining the customer’s payment method because the issuing bank is declining to authorize the card. You can see more about that in this Square forum thread.
It would be good to note that it is best to reach out for support about issues like this before proceeding to leave a negative review as it could be misleading to others.
I hope this helps clarify things. If this issue is affecting other orders, please open a support ticket and we will be happy to assist you further.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Regular forced updatesHi @tsso0120,
I understand your concern about the auto-updates.
It would be good to note that for any software or plugin to stay valuable and secure, constant updates need to be made. In our case, we actively seek out possible vulnerabilities in our extensions (especially payment-related extensions) and release fixes for them ASAP to ensure that merchants are not affected by them.
I understand that you would like to be notified of these updates rather than it being auto-updated hence your server setup to block all updates. However, these auto-updates help keep the site of merchants secure including those who may miss the update notifications or emails.
I hope this helps clarify things. ??
