I just released version 1.7.1 which has an option for a confirmation message.
PerryI think this issue is solved in version 1.7.1.
Please check it out.
PerryHi wordpress_expert,
If I hit the button “Visual Editor” from the widget in the sidebar a popup appears with TinyMCE as editor (so WYSIWYG). There is a “HTML” button in the toolbar of the popup editor which allows you to view and edit the HTML source.
So default is WYSIWYG TinyMCE and there is an option to edit the HTML source.
Does this answer your question?
PerryHi wordpress_expert,
I’m not sure if I understand your question. What do you mean by having the visual editor by default? Do you mean to have the visual editor directly in the widget in the sidebar?
PerryHo nickj88,
Please send me an email and we’ll try to sort it out by mail.

In reply to: [Quick Post Widget] [Plugin: Quick Post Widget] Quick post widget problem@vrachance,
Is the Quick Post Widget the only plugin which seems to cause this behaviour and did you try other themes to test whether it is theme related?

In reply to: [Quick Post Widget] Quick Post Widget keep defaultsHi Leahs2,
You will have to do some editing in the quick-post-widget.php file.
In the current 1.7 version on line 379 remove the following code:
onfocus="if(this.value=='<?php echo '<' . $post_title_default . '>'; ?>') this.value=''; return false;"
On line 382 remove:
onfocus="if(this.value=='<?php echo '<' . $post_content_default . '>'; ?>') this.value=''; return false;"
Remember that you will lose any modifications made in the code when updating the plugin.
Good luck,

In reply to: [Quick Post Widget] [Plugin: Quick Post Widget] Custom fields?Hi clockwood,
I will have to look in to it. If I can sort out how it works I can try to put in in a future release.
PerryHi socialink,
Could you try to be more specific?
PerryYour’re right. I’ll think about it for the next release.

In reply to: Quick Post Widget questionHi robint1986,
This topic https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/399381 says you could try to use the widgets-on-pages plugin together with the Quick Post Widget.
Hope it works out for you.
