In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Tickets Stuck on Pending: Payment Successful on StripeYes this has been done, and all check marks are green.
I have litespeed cache, and the website is served through Cloudflare. I also have BBQ Firewall installed for the firwall security.
Any idea what might be causing this issue?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Tickets Stuck on Pending: Payment Successful on StripeThis is just one of the events that have had an error:
https://thetrufflefarm.ca/event/champagne-truffle-infused-fresh-flower-cake-pop-designer-bouquet-friday-feb-7th/
The only payment methods that have been used, are Mastercard or Visa.
Thank-you for your time, much appreciated.- This reply was modified 1 month, 2 weeks ago by increaseweb604.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Ticket order stuck on “Pending” statusDon’t know why this was marked resolved. It’s 4 months later, and I’m experiencing this issue as well.
Hey thanks for the quick reply.
I pinpointed the issue… it was a signature plugin add-on for CF7. I disabled it, and it works fine. It was literally the last one I checked.. I thought I checked it.
The plugin is:

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 Signature Addon] Signature Clears Every InputFor some reason, after the update the signature has to be outside of the label tag.
I put the shortcode outside of the label tag, and it works fine now.
This is best practice anyways, my error!
thanks, it still works great.- This reply was modified 8 months, 2 weeks ago by increaseweb604.
My client wants to get the plus version of the tickets plus add-on, but I am hesitant as I am paid to manage these things and it’s costing me way too much time compared to what I’m being paid to fix constant issues with this.
This is the third in depth issue I’ve had to deal with so far, and it’s getting in the way of other projects.
At this time, I do not have a license but will if I can get these issues sorted and this plugin just running at a stable and reliable state. Thanks to Gladys, the issue is now fixed for now after I reverted to an older WordPress version – version 6.1.
I hope that this issue is resolved for WordPress 6.4 in the future.Update:
– Tried all PHP versions down to 7.2 – none fixed the issue.
– Added an older fix provided for this same issue by Juan, it did not change anything. Reference: https://gist.github.com/juanfra/de2714d3bc6522a46226598fa0e182c2
Added note:
This all worked absolutely fine when I first switched over to Stripe for at least a couple days.
Then there was some sort of I/O spike yesterday and a fault within my hosting instance as shown via cPanel. Since then, it seems this error is showing persistently. No idea if it’s connected.Update:
Disabled all litespeed caching, error still persists.
Error is claimed to be fixed in Tickets Addon 5.3.1 update, still happening at latest version for me.
Reference to documentation from Events Ticket website:? Stripe checkout problems with Tickets Commerce.
Status: Fixed in Event Tickets 5.3.1
Description:
For some users, it is not possible to complete checkout while trying to sell tickets via Tickets Commerce. They see JavaScript errors in their console and possibly the following errors when they are trying to pay:
- “Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘post’)”
Workaround:
Update to Event Tickets 5.3.1
Affected Products:
Event Tickets
Internal Ref.:
ET-1447
Overall, this error shows up when trying to purchase tickets. Customers cannot purchase tickets at this time.
Also shows up in Chrome as:
Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘post’)Overall.. this is a new issue and it is intermittent and I’m having a hard time re-creating this new issue.
I have removed all caching plugins to eliminate that for the time being, however it is hosted on a litespeed hosting environment so I think there’s some server side caching.Hello Darian.
There was no error displayed, it just put the page into a continuous loop and could not load the page.
I have since ditched PayPal and used stripe. It’s working better. So I cannot further investigate that issue with you.
Yesterday some customers experienced a 403 issue. I’m not sure if it’s due to other issues though because my I/O usage of my instance spiked on the same day, so I’ll need to investigate more to find the real issue.
I did however notice that there’s a syntax error on the tickets purchasing page, and it only shows up there.
You can view it yourself by:
1. Go to https://thetrufflefarm.ca/event/parksville-event-winter-wreath-workshop/ and purchase some tickets
2. Once on the ticket checkout page, right click and inspect the page (ideally with Google chrome)
3. Go to console, you’ll see two syntax errors there.
4. The syntax error info will be limited. Reload the tickets checkout page by refreshing, and it should show some more information for some reason.
I have also attached the syntax errors via this link:
https://thetrufflefarm.ca/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Screen-Shot-2023-11-08-at-11.26.54-AM.pngUpon further inspection, I noticed an error with the PayPal SDK – even after switching to another paypal account.
I think your integration with the PayPal SDK is a bit broken after longer periods of not using it – the first connection after a longer period of it not being used cannot connect or load the checkout page.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Events Ticket Checkout – NOT LOADING!?It must have been an issue with the client’s paypal account…. I connected it to mine and it works fine.
Sigh… I wish we could have control over everything some times. lol.
