YESS.. it worked my friend !!! Now that I got it back, is there a way for me to back it up or protect it from future issues (sorry about all the questions, but I have very little technical knowledge with WordPress and website in general).

When I click on the link you posted here, my MAC downloaded a folder name blackbird. It is not a zip file. So when I try to upload, I am not able to upload the folder. I also don’t think that uploading any of the single file in the folder will work.

Hi IonicaBizau, I’ve tried downloading your zip file of Blackbird theme but there are many files and I’m having trouble uploading them on WordPress. Please help. I ran into the same issue with updating Blackbird and loosing my home page.

When I go to Apperance -> Customize -> Static Front Page; I don’t see the option of Home page. I only see About Us, Gallery, Contact Us
