Second follow-up question, if my images are dynamically changing size according to whatever screen they are displaying on. Shouldn’t they still show up on the back side of my blog post as the original size (i.e. 1200×803) and then just adjust their size on the front end? Because mine show up as 924×618 when I am in edit mode on the blog post and they are full size.

Sorry if this seems like a redundant question, I just want to make sure I am understanding fully.

Thank you for that explanation. So I guess my follow-up question is (Which I don’t know if you know the answer to this)… I’ve been told that for best image optimization, google, and future-proofing my photos, all images should be 1200 pixels wide. If my site is limiting how large they can actually be displayed at and won’t display at 1200 pixels wide in any case, will I get dinged by google? Or is there a way I can get my site/theme to widen?
