    Hi,

Thank you for contacting us here. We release updates for the InfiniteWP client plugin in a phased manner to maintain the stability of the version available in the WordPress plugin repository. After thoroughly testing the new update for any possible bugs, we will update the most recent version in the plugin repo.

Regarding the connection issue, kindly share the report issue of the failed add-site task to our support team (help at infintiewp dot com) for further assistance.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

Sorry for the trouble caused. We do have some versions for the admin panel on the wave to make sure of new updates are working correctly as expected. So when a launch happens, things don’t break for all. That’s why you were seeing multiple updates.

The Google Chrome issue happens randomly, and it is a bug on the Chrome side where they are doing it to a certain domains. We have reported to them our panel doesn’t have any code triggering that issue. They request users to report it back to them, and they remove it. They have a feedback link to report it back. We have raised this complaint many times with them, but that’s the resolution they suggest. The code is open source, and you can also check that the code is right

Feel free to contact our support and we will do the needful. And I apologise for the trouble caused

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to us here with your query. We usually release the new version of the InfiniteWP plugin in a wave(releasing to a few users). The client plugin update will be sent directly to your IWP admin panel from our server.

Once we ensure that our released version is bug-free, we will push the IWP client update to the plugin repository. So, you will only get the update notice on your InfiniteWP admin panel and see a different version on the WordPress plugin repository.

I hope this clarifies your query, and please don’t hesitate to contact us again for any questions or concerns

    Cheers!

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for your reply. Have you installed any plugins or enabled services to auto-update the plugins on your WordPress sites?
If yes, would it be possible for you to temporarily disable them and update the IWP client plugin to the latest version, 1.9.9? Then monitor your admin panel and let us know if you continue to receive the update notifications for the two sites in question.

Please write an email to our technical support team at help at infinitewp dot com if the same issue persists.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. Uninstalling the client plugin will not break your site. Instead, it will break the site connection on the InfiniteWP admin panel.

1.9.8 is the latest stable version available on the WordPress plugin repository.

If you have further questions or concerns, kindly write us to help at infinitewp dot com. We would be glad to answer all your queries in detail.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

We have more than 500,000 sites using our software, and a small mistake can break connections on your server or admin panel.

That’s why we keep the current stable version which is secure, and try the other release in waves (releasing to a bunch of users) to make sure it’s not breaking anything.

Once we make sure that our released version is bug-free, we will push the IWP client update to the plugin repository.
So far, none of our users has reported any issues. We will be updating the IWP client plugin to the latest version on the WordPress plugin repository soon.

    Cheers!
