Hi @wpuser362,
Thanks for contacting us.
Have you tried to enable the Custom Ready event? Enabling this can sometimes help when your galleries have trouble initializing. This could potentially happen when there are javascript errors on a page. You can find this setting in your wp-admin. Go to FooGallery -> Settings under Advanced tab, enable “Custom Ready Event” and click Save Settings.
Have you also tried to check if there is a plugin conflict that is resulting in the error? To check for a plugin conflict, you can try following the instructions in our plugin documentation: https://fooplugins.com/documentation/general/general-troubleshooting/health-check-debug/
If the problem persists, would you mind sharing with us the system info? You can find this in FooGallery > System Info. Please copy this and paste it here so we can investigate further.
Kind Regards,
Nathan.Hi @tammya1999,
To rearrange the photos the 2 column gallery on page refresh, you can try using the random feature of the gallery sorting options in the gallery settings. For more information, please visit the plugin documentation at https://fooplugins.com/documentation/foogallery/troubleshooting-foogallery/gallery-sorting/.
If you encounter any problems or have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
Kind regards,
Blaise.Hi @careycat,
Thanks for the information. To troubleshoot the issue, try contacting your web hosting provider, Godaddy, and ask them to try disabling the CDN(https://secureservercdn.net) feature so that the images can get served directly from WordPress then check to see if the images will now display in the gallery.
Let me know how this goes.
Kind regards,
Blaise.Hi @careycat,
I have investigated the issue on the page with the gallery at https://heroesinternational.org/grandmothers/. It seems the images are loading from a CDN(https://secureservercdn.net) which is returning a 404 error as shown in the screenshot: https://monosnap.com/file/lVq4f6sCcQLEiilREMu2sj3PDcEIMp. 404 error means the image could not be found from the CDN where they are being served and could be the reason why they are not able to display on the frontend. To troubleshoot the issue, try disabling your CDN plugin to see if this solves the problem.
Let me know how this goes.
Kind regards,
BlaiseHi @rfmurphy81,
If it works on the front end, it should be able to display on your admin page. Have you also tried clearing your WordPress cache then testing on a browser using a different device? Kindly also check if there is a plugin conflict. You can use the health check plugin to easily check for a plugin conflict. For more information on using the health check plugin, please visit: https://fooplugins.com/documentation/general/general-troubleshooting/health-check-debug/
Let me know how this goes.
Kind regards,
Blaise.Hi @rfmurphy81,
It seems the issue is related to the URL configuration in the migration process and not Foogallery because the galleries exist and work on the test domain.
I have done further research on the issue. The permanent domain could be missing in some of the WordPress settings. Could you try asking your Cloudways hosting provider to backup your database and try to update your permanent domain in the database as described in the article at https://wpbeaches.com/updating-wordpress-mysql-database-after-moving-to-a-new-url/? Furthermore, they should also check the paths to the galleries when the page is loaded in the PHP error logs in order to determine if their settings are pointing to the correct domain as compared to the test domain.
You can also have a look at the plugin documentation: https://fooplugins.com/documentation/foogallery/troubleshooting-foogallery/exporting-importing-galleries/ on how to export galleries from a previous website/installation and import them to your new website/installation.
N/B: Make sure you have backup your website and databases before trying the above troubleshooting steps so that you can revert changes made to the database and website in case you encounter any problem.
If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Blaise.Hi @meiandning,
Sorry for the delayed response.
To remove the box shadow, try adding the code shown below, to your theme’s style.css or customcss area:
/* remove foobox border shadow */
.fbx-inner-shadow, .fbx-btn-shadow{
box-shadow: none !important;
}If you encounter any problems let me know.
Kind regards,
Blaise.Hi @meiandning,
Sorry for the previous response.
Just to add on the above, you can remove the border if you have the Foobox Pro version when you go to wordpressadmin->foobox->settings->look&feel and enable the flat theme as shown in the screenshot: https://monosnap.com/file/34yLKYM80LGWECXPvBZUHISGzR3kKv
However, if you are using the Foobox free version, you can add the code shown below to your theme’s style.css or customcss area in order to remove the border.
.fbx-light .fbx-inner, .fbx-light .fbx-next, .fbx-light .fbx-prev, .fbx-light .fbx-close{
background: transparent !important;
border-color: transparent !important;
color:white !important;
}If you encounter any problem or if I may be missing something, don’t hesitate to ask.
Kind regards,

Blaise.Hi @thecaryl,
1. Masonry reorders the images to best fit them into the columns however it sees fit. There is a way to change this behavior but you would need to use the Gallery Settings > Advanced > Custom Settings option and insert the following value:
{“template”:{“horizontalOrder”: true}}
as shown in the screenshot: https://monosnap.com/file/Ib671iqy7Smt0DIfB1ZWFlzcxw6ZC0.This instructs the Masonry JS to preserve the order the items were output but it can lead to uneven/strange column heights as it is not performing a best-fit check.2. Regarding blurriness, it seems that when you select the less than 299px thumb size, they are set a little too small for your theme’s available width yet the rendered images on the page are actually around 446px. I would suggest that you set the thumbs to 450px to avoid upscaling which causes blurriness.
If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Blaise.Hi @flueueue,
The image would have opened twice because your theme’s default box must have been enabled. However, it seems you were able to disable your theme’s default lightbox hence it does not appear in the back of Foobox lightbox that is enabled for your gallery when you close Foobox.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards.
Hi @nancyinpink,
Sorry for the delayed response.
I have tested the Pinterest share chrome extension in the gallery at https://monosnap.com/file/POFpqq5cqHTDpqQzY8Zh6KfnDc8yyd and the alt text is available on some images when shared to Pinterest as shown in the screenshot:https://monosnap.com/file/xxiGQaajVaN7euxkb7m7KfZbq3nmk8. However, it seems to be missing in some images when shared via Pinterest.
Could you try contacting the author of the Pinterest extension since they are the creators of the extension and know how best it works? The alt text is available in the galleries tag but Pinterest is not able to pull the alt text on some images. This could be a fault on their side since the full HTML code with the alt text is available in the console on homepage for “make a wish” image.
Kind regards,
Blaise.
