Where to submit to get the notification?

Hello!!
I just wanna get the email if there is a new comment on my site but I dont even know hot to submit my email adddress to get the notifications.
It is sent by facebook? and I have checked the junk/spam folder, nothing there.
I asked different friends to leave me comment on my site, it did show on the site but I just dont get the noticed.
And is it possible to show the recent comment as widget? just a question.
