In reply to: [Security & Malware scan by CleanTalk] Plugin Slows Admin sectin of site?I deleted everything and re-installed Cleantalk Spam protection.
It appears to be working correctly now, including synchronizing with the cloud. I’m just curious what exactly that “synchronizing with cloud” does and why it does not happen automatically.
I don’t think I need Security & Malware scan by CleanTalk, since have some pretty strong protection on my server.

In reply to: [Security & Malware scan by CleanTalk] Plugin Slows Admin sectin of site?I deactivated and deleted CleanTalk spam protection, as per your instructions.
Now I would like to deactivate and delete Security & Malware scan by CleanTalk. However, in the “Settings” section of the main site, I cannot access any CleanTalk settings. It has only this endless rotating symbol indicating it is supposedly working. Clicking on any link makes no difference.
Can I achieve the same object by just deleting the plugin directory from the server?

In reply to: [Security & Malware scan by CleanTalk] Plugin Slows Admin sectin of site?Further Information:
“Security by CleanTalk” shows this error message (even though it was still on the valid free trial till Sep 28):`Errors:
2020-09-20 09:34:15: API key validating: Key is empty.
You can get support any time here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/security-malware-firewall.`Nothing appears to be really working. There is only this endless turning icon to show that it is “working.

In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] Comment author searchOk, thanks.
It seems to me that such functionality should not be that difficult to implement, but then I’m not a programmer. ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Classic Editor] Classic Editor not working with WP 5.3Btw, my site works just fine with the “Classic Editor Addon” plugin enabled. So I doubt that is the problem. Activating the Classic Editor Plugin turned the save and Publish functions back on.
There is the chance that the Classic Editor Plugin has code left behind, even after deactivation, that messes with the Save and Publish functions. (That’s the way it seems to me now.)
Otoh, it’s possible that the behavior of the plugins is different now than it was when the original post was created …

In reply to: [Classic Editor] Classic Editor not working with WP 5.3I have had the opposite problem. WordPress 5.3 will not save or publish posts for me without the Classic Editor enabled. (No other editor plugins were enabled, and enabling other plugins one by one did not allow me to publish. As soon as I reactivated the Classic Editor plugin, posts would publish again.)
As a matter of fact, I have the plugin working right now, but not because of anything from the support department.
This is what I found out:
I had the plugin installed on a multisite setup, network enabled. But I could not access “settings” either on the network or individual sites. Not sure what all is happened, but I unchecked “Network enabled” and enabled it on the individual site. The “Settings” tab showed up, and under “Advanced” I entered my credentials. The plugin started working as it was supposed to.
I just checked now, and the plugin is again network enabled and still working. Not sure what happened.
I would still like to see a little improvement in the interface.
This is from support files at servmask.com: “All-in-One WP Migration supports import for backups less than 512MB.”
So the plugin apparently works for sites that take up less than 512 MB and are not part of a multisite system.
Unfortunately that does not describe me. It would seem that even deleting other sites from a multisite setup would not help, because it would not remove the Networking part of the setup.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Styling lazy-load imagesOkay, I was wrong about the firewall. I’m using Wordfence, which acts as a firewall.
Are there any files I should whitelist, and is it safe?

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Styling lazy-load imagesThanks for the feedback. So the JS errors are the result of my specifying minified JS?
I suppose I should find out what script/plugin is causing the errors.
No firewall.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Styling lazy-load imagesOkay, thanks. I’m having trouble with the basic Lazy-loading. Images just show up as blanks and don’t load at all. So there’s not point worrying about styling!
H’mm … They don’t show on my home page, but maybe that’s because I display only excerpts on my home page. And you must be displaying “full posts.” Since footnotes are part of “full posts,” that seems reasonable.
Actually, that URL only points to information I already know, and there’s no links to any sort of help.
I finally found one Help Forum:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/feedburnerA tool others might find helpful to find errors:
https://validator.w3.org/ (Even though the feed *looks* right, the emailing option might stumble over an odd character.)PS Not sure what you mean by “commercial product.” Feedburner is a free service available to bloggers on all platforms, including www.ads-software.com.
