That was exactly the issue–I had at one point removed the “Template Name: Archives” thing in the archives.php file, because I couldn’t see the purpose of it.

As I already explained, the “Show hidden” link doesn’t do anything. I’ve tried in both Fx and IE with JS on.

My question is: Should I use ‘$p’ or ‘$single’ in WordPress 1.5.2? The various claims confused me.
And what’s with the ‘!’? Should I use that? What’s the difference?
