Ah HA! I got the text link to work. What I’m trying to do is have the thumbnails in the “film-strip” open up the full size image in a “lightbox”. The plugin I’m using for that is called “Meteor-Slides”. Is this possible?
Hi, I’m trying to accomplish the same thing but cannot find a combination that will work for me. I tried the code from bolide above to no avail and began trying all variations; none of which will work. Can anyone help with this? Eventually the idea is to link the “film-strip” photo to the NextGen gallery. Currently the site is up on a temporary server. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
https://scoopsriverpark.com/posh/gallery/website-filmstrip-images/I’d like to throw my hat in the ring as well. I’m googling the same thing with no good results. Have either of you guys found a solution? I am trying to link a meteor slide gallery to open a NexGen image in a lightbox view.

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] integration with NextGenHey Josh, I’ve been searching, but haven’t found a solution yet. Is it possible to have the slide link to a specific NextGen gallery image that opens in a lightbox? Too complicated? I can’t find a specific link that is applied to the thumbnail in the Nextgen gallery that opens the lightbox. Here’s my site on a testing server. Thanks in advance!

In reply to: Multiple Image Slideshow GalleryFor anyone interested, I ended up using the Meteor Slide plugin that I was already aware of. I couldn’t find a plugin that could display multiple images so I ended up using this plugin to build multiple galleries side by side. Various slideshows placed side by side totaling the 1000px webpage size. When finished, the site will reside at Posh Hair Geneva. Feel free to take a look for examples. Thanks to Josh Leuze for creating an awesome plugin.

In reply to: Multiple Image Slideshow GalleryBoth of these plugins display 1 image at a time. I would have to create 7 or 8 galleries and place them side by side to achieve what I’m looking for. If you take a look at the link I posted you will see what I’m trying to do. If I’m wrong and either of these plugins can display multiple images at the same time please let me know but I see no documentation of that anywhere on their pages. Is this not possible?

In reply to: My 2 SidebarsI cannot figure out where to place the include <?php include (TEMPLATEPATH . ‘/sidebar2.php’); ?> . If I place the code below the footer in index or footer.php the sidebar shows up extremely long. If I place the code above the footer, the footer ends up positioned inside the sidebar. Can anyone shed some light on this?

In reply to: My 2 SidebarsGrr, so I got both sidebars to appear on my page and they’re positioned on the left and right. My right sidebar is perfect. My left sidebar (which was the addition) falls below the footer unless I use CSS with a top margin of -813px. Then the height fluctuates and doesn’t line up with the footer. Also, the left sidebar position changes from page to page. Can anyone see why this is happening so I can fix it? A million thanks.

In reply to: My 2 SidebarsAfter wrestling with this all week I finally solved it on Friday. I had followed this tutorial on adding a sidebar:
https://www.blogohblog.com/adding-extra-sidebar-to-your-wordpress-theme/I ended up leaving my index page the same as before I added a sidebar and it both sidebars appeared. Not sure why that worked but it did. I’d like to thank all that posted replies to help. Oh, wait, no one did….

In reply to: My 2 SidebarsThat’s weird, I posted it as a link right under the post.
https://www.scoopsriverpark.com/poshSorry, what exactly do you mean template files? Index.php? I’m not sure I did it right.

In reply to: Change comment notification emailI ended up using “Comment Moderation E-mail to Post Author” plugin and the workaround for this was to change the author for all posts and pages from Admin to one of the other users who wants to receive the notifications. This works but it is not convenient to do every time the admin creates a new post or page on the site. Still interested in a new plugin that simply allows the admin to enter a specific email address for all notifications to be sent.
Comments are added by going to “Manage Gallery” and clicking on your gallery. The comments field is for each photo to have it’s own comment. Not sure why it wouldn’t be functioning correctly for you though. No additional plugin was needed for my gallery. I think that’s why you’re not seeing any helpful responses by anyone. Looks as though you have it working on your site though…

In reply to: Change comment notification emailBump, anyone have this figured out and can point me in the right direction? Searching for plugins hasn’t gotten me where I want to be. Would changing the author of the original pages and posts on the website help? I don’t think it’s proper to write posts on behalf of a client unless instructed to do so.

In reply to: Change comment notification emailThanks for the search results… I already mentioned that I have been searching all afternoon. I don’t see a plugin that will simply input a single email address as the notification. I don’t want to be notified. I only want my client to be notified. The problem lies in that I as the admin am the current author so most of these plugins that notify author will still be notifying me as the admin instead of my client. Anyone else have a more specific idea? Thanks again.

In reply to: Header H2 CSS being overriddenHey guys, thanks a lot for the help. The theme author did set this up for a basic user who wouldn’t be modifying the CSS so there was a basic editor set up in the admin. I had deleted that from functions.php to try to remove the overriding CSS. So that basic editor is no longer in my admin. JarretC is right in that sense.
Last night when I was leaving the studio the site crashed. I couldn’t even get into the admin so this morning I had to reinstall WordPress. In doing so I have lost all my posts and pages and a lot of my CSS is again being overridden. I need to go through it all again and hopefully that H2 is fixed in the process. Next time I’m not using a theme. This has proven to be a pain in the ass.
