  • Confirming that the WP Rollback fix from @shdog works great under the following conditions:
    Wordpress Version: 4.9.7
    WooCommerce Version: 3.4.4
    Theme: Flatsome 3.6.1

(obviously, make sure to test the rollback in a staging environment first, but all went smoothly for me)

This specific bug has been a big issue for our customers. To replicate the error with the Flatsome theme:
    1. Use any version of this Braintree plugin above 2.0.4
    2. Set a default payment method
    3. Get to checkout and attempt to select ‘new card’
    4. You’ll find the fields are entirely disabled and end-users cannot input their new card information.

I understand that this ‘may’ have to do with the theme or a plugin installed, but the developers of this plugin clearly aren’t maintaining it properly.

Developers: just to be clear. THIS ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED. I will notify our theme developer of possible errors on their end, but for now I am thankful to have a fix in place so our customer’s can continue to add new cards at checkout.

Super frustrating. This plugin seems to be dead. It’s functioning but not being actively developed at all, and appears to have no true owner. PHP7 compatibility is really important, and the current version hasn’t been updated in 2 years.

Even more unfortunate, there don’t seem to be any reasonable alternatives that support Mandrill templates or Custom Headers well.

I can also confirm that the new develop branch zip file resolved this fatal error on our sites. It was causing the WordPress dashboard to throw a 500 internal server error, but all seems good now. Thanks for the quick update!

Confirming that the new registration emails to users are not being sent because of a Gravity Forms User Registration conflict. I suspect it’s because The User Registration Add-on is still trying to send the password as plain text. I’m also seeing this error on the Admin side when trying to send test emails.

The variable.php template provided in your plugin is out of date and because the Flatsome theme does not natively work with this plugin, I have to use the template you provide. Woocommerce 2.5 contains updates to that file, so would you mind including a current variable.php template that has been modified to work with your plugin? I have customizations to our variable template, but it’s really helpful to see the example that you provide with your plugin.

Using your 2.4 template with 2.5 technically works fine and I haven’t found any bugs yet. However, updates to variable.php in the core are rare, so it’d be great to stay up-to-date.

I really appreciate you maintaining this plugin, it’s super helpful!!

    Mantish,
I’m having difficulties with WP 2.5 using the Flatsome theme. I have traditionally used your advice and copied plugins/wc-variations-radio-buttons/templates/single-product/add-to-cart/variable.php to themes/your-child-theme/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/variable.php
However, I’m wondering if that file is missing something required for WP 2.5.

variable.php is listed as one of the templates changed with this new major release: https://woocommerce.wordpress.com/tag/woocommerce-2-5/
