For me, from the desc, it’s not clear that multi site is not compatible.
Especially since I did not try to activate this from the multi site option, but from one single site.
The docs says:
“Related Posts for WordPress Premium
There’s an even better version of this plugin that comes with the following extra features: WordPress Network / Multisite support”For me, it doesn’t clearly say that it’s not working if you have a multisite and try to activate it for only one. It’s kind of “the user has to guess that the things in the premium are not included in the non premium” situation.
A lot of plugins (like updraft for example) require premium to support multi site. But still work on a single site. So, yeah, my mental model as a user is based on my experience and expectations from previous plugins. Maybe this makes “zero sense” to you @defries, but, this is how I understood (or did not understood) the description part.
Ideas to improve (because I don’t want @barrykooij to stay sad)
- Say directly in the description it’s not going to work with multi (even if you only activate it for one site. In a clear way).
- Maybe have a table comparing free / premium?

Hi, same as puggan so I upvote the “would be nice to remove dependency one day”, in the meantime thanks Thomas for the answer I found the checkbox, it solves it for me since I don’t track form events (yet) ??
That’s a super good news, I will give it another try ??
Hi @brainstormteam thanks for the reply.
I’m sorry but no it doesn’t work, here is my local: https://i.postimg.cc/SxR6PcmT/screenshot-2019-04-05-at-18-36-03.png
Even if I deactivate all blocs in the settings, as soon as I activate your plugin it forces jQuery, jQuery Migrate + a table of content in the front of the site. My template doesn’t use jQuery I unregistered it.
Also, if I follow your “just deactivate the blocs” logic, it means that even if I don’t use a bloc but I have it activated, it will still load all the JS for the bloc on pages that don’t use the bloc? Is there no way to avoid that in WordPress. Like “if the bloc is used on the page, load the JS, if not, don’t load it”?

In reply to: [Download Monitor] DO NOT UPDATE TO version 4 for multi sitesOh sorry you’re right I wanted to put a 1 star review (I wanted to review the plugin from the dashboard and it opened this window and asked for a comment so I added one to explain the 1 star)
There’s already some support issues open on the update to the 4 version I didn’t want to create duplicates.
Also I won’t use the plugin anymore so I don’t want to bother the support, just warn people that the update to version 4 will mess up the site.- This reply was modified 6 years, 7 months ago by Stef.

In reply to: [Gust] Not working in subdomain setupHi ??
+1 for this I’ve got the same problem I installed my WordPress on a /blog/ sub directory, with a multisite to get a /blog/en (yeah I like WTF configuration :D) and does not work, I get mysite.fr/blog/gut redirected to mysite/gut/post (aka a 404).

In reply to: [Hammy] [Plugin: Hammy] Feedback? Bugs? Issues?@noel Tock It’s the WordPress editor that messes things up. Also when you try to add the image in a paragraph, and align it left or right, the HTML gets reallt ugly and invalid.

In reply to: [Hammy] [Plugin: Hammy] Feedback? Bugs? Issues?Hey, me again ^^
As a matter of fact and 4 hours of investigation, the problem does not come frome the JavaScript, but from WordPress code cleanup (mess-up?). To put it simple, you can’t use a figure inside of a p element. The problem is that WordPress wrapes its images into p elements, so the outcome of the_content is
<p> <a> <figure> </figure> </a> </p>
This is not valid, and browser tend to do what they can with it, hence the strange behavior with the link. The solution we found (thanks kReEsTaL for some links) is to remove the p tag using regex. Maybe this could be added in the plugin for further release ?
Here is a link with a regex that works and another one that works tooCheers ??

In reply to: [Hammy] [Plugin: Hammy] Feedback? Bugs? Issues?Hi there,
The plugin works fine, just one little problem, when you add a link on the image, the link does not appear on the page. It’s in the HTML, we get a structure like this in HTML<a href="milink"> <figure> <img> </img> </figure> </a>
but in the DOM on Firebug (chrome and also Firefox) I get
<p><a href="milink"></a></p> <figure> <img> </img> </figure> </a>
and the link is not clicable. I tried to highlight the a tag, indeed it’s in the DOM before the figure element. Strange.
Any idea how to fix it ?
Same here :/
Okay, my mistake, too bad, it looked promessing. Thanks for the reply ??
