Please notice that for “newest” the get_comments() function on line 353 returns an array of objects, since the ‘fields’ => ‘ids’ argument is commented out. So in both cases array contains objects and it isn’t causing any PHP issues.

The other URL is a PHP script which creates the thumbnails so it is ok. Please enable WP debug and give us some existing URL of the image which was not found.

To open another URL after clicking the Download button you can utilize the “URL” package type.

First make sure that the URL option is enabled in your CMDM Admin Settings -> General tab -> Upload section -> “Type of download available for uploaders”.

Then you can add new download, choose URL type and enter the URL to redirect to.

Have you tried to flush the rewrite rules cache?
