We just checked this on a test store, and everything seems to be fine (for example, when changing the city, an update occurs, but the selection point data is saved.

Possible you may have customized Checkout page.

Very sorry to hear this.
But the reason for the slow work of the plugin is that it periodically tries to connect to a remote InPost server in order to receive data with the wrong value of the access token (or Organization ID).

Exact these requests slow down the work. This will not happen when the connection is successful.

There is a small possibility that it was a failure of the servers of the company where you received the API access data (toekn and Organization ID).

You’re right the parameter values should be without quotes.
I corrected it but it didn`t help.
I checked it on a fresh WordPress instalation (5.8.2) on the default Twenty Twenty-One theme – everything is ok.

In my project I am using Bedrock and the Genesis child theme.
Looks like something is wrong with my theme.
As I solve this problem, I will share it.
