I think maybe Hueman needs an update? The pictures show on other Themes.

Yes, I have the same problem. Last month, all my posts did not display their pics (they had captions only). I gave up on my web site. Then I came back, updated WordPress and all plug-ins, and I can see my pics again! Then I notice Hueman needs an update. I update, and now I can’t see my pics in my posts again.

That makes sense why the email confirmation is required. However, with Jetpack comments, don’t they allow for social media login? Doesn’t that mean that the commenter is authenticated via their social media?

I can’t update it again. I’ll go into Dreamweaver and delete the Dynamic.CSS file you mentioned.

Oh! I wonder if when I updated from my local drive, I overwrote it by accident.

thank you for your help!! I’m going to reinstall the update, how about that? Will that get rid of the dynamic.css? Everything in the theme looks like after the update, so I didn’t notice the change.

Goal: Dynamic front page (static and blog with slider)

Okay, I created a Page and called it Blog. I didn’t choose any Template, I just left it blank. When I go to the page via URL, I can see the slider: interiorvoyeur dot com /blog.

Settings>>Reading

Front page displays

Your latest posts

A static page (select below) <–I choose this one

Front page: Home
Posts page: Blog

Or Blog, then Home.

It doesn’t work. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you so much for this theme!!! I was almost going to give up on WordPress and then found yours–I’m really enjoying playing with it.

I can’t activate the home page slider, either. Can you explain how to make “the blog post index as homepage”?

I thought I saw something in Jetpack (on their blog?) that allowed you to pull a backup image for posts without images.

Either that, or I would suggest working with the theme, and creating a standard image to post with no-image posts, like an image that reads, “Post.”

I notice that the header above the picture doesn’t go all the way to the end (it’s 738px and the pic is 750px, I think).

Any fix for that?
