OK I am back. After logging back into the site four hours later the last two entries (making 27) were sitting in the back end dashboard with a message “Pending”. I have never seen this before. I republished the entries and now they are displaying with the map.

I don’t know if any of the things I did in the previous post shown above was what fixed it or if it was a server issue or something else. I wish I knew in case this happens again.

I apologize for inconvenience I may have caused. This really is and has always been one of the best WordPress plugins I have ever used. I highly recommend it.

    FirelightWP,

Thank you so much for following up on this and for getting to it so quickly. It always puts my mind at ease to use a plugin from an author who really seems to care.

    Thanks.

    FirelightWP,

One more thing. I may be wrong but it appears that the problem is only on images inserted after the last update. I have gone to sites that we have built that had images that were previously set to not use FancyBox but now they have links and were expanding on click. I unlinked them and they no longer are expanding, however as a test I added a new image to this same site and this new image did not have a chain link highlight but it was still expanding on click. I even tried linking and then unlinking the image but this still did not disengage Fancybox.

    FirelightWP,

Thank you for responding. I have begun to had this issue on several websites. Here is an example: https://majesticviewsfloats.com/fishing-tours/ . The fish logo on that page was originally uploaded through the media manager. Placed on the page through an image block and retrieved through the media manger. When first brought in to the page it does have the chain link highlighted. Normally you would simply unlink the image but even after unlinking it, saving and clearing the cache the image will still expand on hover and click. I then added the css class “nolightbox” and “nofancybox” to the “Additional CC Class” section of WordPress, saved, cleared the cache and it still continues to expand on hover and enlarge of click. I hope this gives you enough detail.

Thank you again for looking into this.

    Farroyo,

I was concerned about this myself. Thank you for replying so quickly and putting our minds at ease.

I have tested it and it works great! Your company has unbelievable support. I started testing your program about a year ago and documented all my test. I was pulled away for a while but am back and I can see you have made many great improvements. Much of that involves the use of Stripe.

Thank you again for addressing this so quickly.

    mbrsolution,

I really appreciate your response however I think we have a communication problem here. I did switch to a WordPress theme for testing, that did not fix the issue. You are confusing the Billing Address with the Shipping Address. The Stripe form does ask for the billing address but in many instances the shipping address and the billing address are different. The link I provided in a previous post shows your documentation on adding the ability to ask for the shipping address.

Thank you again for your response. It shows that you rally do care about your plugins and your customers.

    mbrsolution,

Yes, I should have mentioned that in the original post.

Also the the Cart Orders shows a section for the customers phone number but again Stripe does not show this options. However more importantly is the shipping address. I would think anyone wnating to sell something from their website will need the shipping address.

    FirelightWP,

I did leave you a great review and I appreciate you getting on this so quickly. I can not tell you how grateful I am for what you do for the whole community.

    Thanks again.

    FirelightWP,

Thank yo so much for getting on this so quickly. I could change the color of the text but all I had to do was delete the #000000 and leave it blank because apparently the default is white.

Again, you have my undying gratitude.

    Frank,

I love this plugin and use it on a lot of sites and it appears you have already fixed the issue because deleting and reinstalling the same version of the plugin does works however this causes a lot of problems as all of our sites will lose their settings and each site will have to be done individually (even though we use the Import option). This will be a tremendous amount of work.

I admit I am not a programmer nor do I know much about how plugins are created or updated but I think it it would have been better for everyone if you would just issue a updated version so we don’t lose our settings.

For those who do not want to lose their settings the issue I found at line 285 is:

    wrong:
    $current_post_type = get_post_type($post->ID);

    right:
    $current_post_type = get_post_type( get_queried_object_id() );

Again, I admit I may not know what I am talking about but without an updated version this is going to be a real pain for many of us.

Thank you for all of the hard work you have put into this plugin. I don’t know what I would do without it.

    David

Please don’t ignore all of the various topics on the recent problem. I have this program on over a hundred sites and they are all having this and other problems. It has become a nightmare. My only solution so far is to disable the program on all of the sites and hope that the emails from their website still go through.

The update has changed the settings, emails are scrambled and the logs are failing.

    Ian,

I just recently started having similar problems. reCaptcha really slows down a website so I started using hCaptcha on my contact forms. Now all of the “to” fields for my autoresponder show an error. They do have the [your-email] short code but that is how the autoresponder knows who to send the message back to. As a test I did install reCaptcha and the message went away but I don’t want to use reCaptcha and everything was working fine before with hCaptcha.

Unbelievable support! Thank you so much. I have tested many WordPress simple shopping cart plugins and I keep coming back to yours.

    mra13,

Thank you for your response. I look forward to that update as almost all of our clients that take payments use Stripe rather than Paypal now.

    Thank you again.
