In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Cannot delete markerJust wanted to notify this topic is solved and that the problem was not the plugin but something didn’t go totally right when moving from test to production server.
It was still getting the map from the test server so any change I made didn’t show up.Nick was the one finding out, so am very grateful for this great support!

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Cannot delete markerReally confused, whatever I do: delete a link, delete a marker image.. it keeps popping up front end.
Even went into the database and searched to see the deleted markers there (they were gone), but yet… they still pop up?
Deleted cookies, cache the whole shabam, now even deleted the whole map… but… it still shows up.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Not visible for editorsAre you going to add this to the plugin? Changing your code is not really the way to go, since every update will arrange the changes.

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Embed generated map somewhere elseMy client insists in using the Google Maps Engine from his Google Enterprise account.
I can’t get the right reason for it, I can only think he would like that embed function, but he can’t seem to answer me his reasons apart from: “Google Maps Engine probably will give us possibilities in the future that can be very usefull to us”.
Tried my best answering him that WP Google Maps does all he needs, but I guess he is stuck on the Engine…

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] WP Google Maps and WP_DebugIs it really resolved now?
I mentioned this already 3 months ago
but till now I haven’t seen it fixed.I understand that, but I asked it anyway in case somebody else might have known…
I’ll leave it though… It’s already taking me 3 days… It’s just not worth the frustration.Yup yup, I got it… sounds like a broken record… It was my last try to get support for a lost password… I KNOW this is for the free version… It was just my last resort, somebody can try right?
I can recommend everybody to stay with the free version since my client just lost $ 49 and the only thing he gets for it is automatic mails and a forum he can’t ask the right question.Success with your plugin and with moderating Esmi..
Uhm, Esmi… my client hired ME (I am a web developer)… If my client, and me cannot contact the support center >how would somebody else be able to?
I guess none of these questions are appreciated over here, so that would mean I can tell my client just to throw his license away since there is no way to contact the vendor after losing your password.
Thanks so much for you help!Thank you for your quick reply, but this support center is the problem, it requires me to login… ??
That is why I posted it here since it seems to be my only option.
It says “To see additional content please login“
Maybe you could send me an emailaddress? You could send it to me privately?
Sorry for bugging you here!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Widget Builder] How to size the featured image?I ended up adding this to the function get_widget_data in the widget-builder.php:
if(is_active_sidebar('buildings-right') ) { $size = "buildings-right"; }else{ $size = "banner"; }
and changing ‘image’ to:
'image' => ( has_post_thumbnail( $widget->ID ) ) ? wp_get_attachment_image_src( get_post_thumbnail_id( $widget->ID ), $size ) : null,
But would love to know a better way!
