I had set the post type to “gallery” because when it was set to “post” nothing was happening.

I have sent 5 mails since your request, I will leave a couple unprocessed now, to see if that makes anything clearer

Have done so.

I think my expectation is that the “Gallery” function would be the one found in the Media Library function, rather than the “Gallery Post type”

Certainly my reading of the instructions is that images embedded within the email remain in the body of the post, images attached to the email, populate the Gallery.

Thank you for your prompt response, and once I get this working on this test site I will be looking to put it into production asap
